Vice President
The Vice President of the Diversity Roundtable of Central Indiana will assist the President with his or her duties and shall attend at least 8 of the meetings of the Board and membership and preside at the meetings in which the President is not in attendance. The Vice President shall also assist in the general supervision of the affairs of the Roundtable, subject to the control of the Board. The Vice President is frequently assigned to special areas to fulfill obligations of vacant Board position until such a time as a new Director is appointed. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
• Accumulating grant information and investigate grantee’s requests.
• Schedule and coordinate grantee interviews and/or presentations as well as on-site visits. The Vice President shall assure that these functions are executed with and meet Board approval.
• As future President, the Vice President shall have a high degree of involvement in the October Board of Directors election process.
The Vice President is responsible for populating the “Events” section of the website on a monthly basis with diversity focused events, to keep it up to date and useful for visitors.
